So why do you need to have high quality photos?

It is highly likely that anyone looking for a property will be searching on Rightmove or an equivalent resource and with so many properties available to look at, poor quality images are guaranteed to stop buyers booking a viewing. Therefore your home has to stand out to grab peoples attention.

Furthermore, I’ve seen so many examples of photos taken using poor lighting, bad angles and many are even blurry. Poor photography is going to lose you viewings, infact poor photography is going to contribute to the price. Just as a perfectly decorated home will go for a higher price than a similar property that’s in need of work, badly presented photos will have an impact on how people feel about your asking price. It’s therefore essential you make sure that you have the property which presents itself to it’s fullest potential.

OK, so why should we pay for the photography when the estate agent include it in their fee?

Well, for starters Estate Agents aren’t photographers. In the same way you wouldn’t ask your electrician to do your plumbing, you don’t want an amateur photographer taking photos of your home. Your typical estate agent won’t have the right equipment nor will they have the necessary know how.

Something to remember.

Modern building design has never been as creative as it is today. The exotic materials that are commercially available will enable you to expand your mind and build your dream home.

I come across so many commercial and private¬†premises for sale that show dark, poorly composed underexposed images, so it’s hardly surprising they struggle to sell. Furthermore, I’ve even witnessed estate agents stood back in the road trying to taking photos using their smartphones, I’m sure you see my point.

As a final note, estate agents have proven that people will take more interest in a property if it has fantastic photos, bright, colourful and interesting so why cut corners. If you want to sell and market your property quickly and efficiently then make sure you invest in professional photography.
